How to get to Pittodrie

Game Stats

Aberdeen are riding a wave at the moment with 9 wins in a row, and the last team to beat them was Dundee FC in the SFAC fixture way back in November. However in contrast, the Dees seem to have awoken from their run of bad games against a lack lustre Motherwell side last weekend with a 4-1 win.

Is this the wrong way round?? What a record!

That is what I thought when I first saw it, but nope it is true we have a better record against them up there then we do at Dens against them.

Used to love the Ne'erday games against the Sheep back in the 60's. Trips to Pittodrie were a laugh from start to finish. Pyshed bus conductors from Lochee inta the toon, they'd been paid wi drams. Loads o Dees on the train. Marching to Pittodrie to see a Dee win then repeat the return trip. Great days.

Harris Thomson McGowan

Harkins Stewart

Tankulic

Too attacking. That's pretty much a 4 2 4. We'd be swamped in midfield. I wouldn't play Tankulic. He's been better recently but doesn't justify a start.

I'd go with a midfield 5 and sit back a bit. Swap Harkins (why can't he learn to add a defensive side to his game?) for Jmac, Tank for Clarkson and push Stewart back into midfield.

Use Harkins and Tank as impact subs.

We just might get a result here. I think we're on the up and the bubble has to burst at some point soon for the Sheep.
