Apparently good for flexibility and strengthening training but I agree it looks ridiculous and should be done days beforehand to get any benefit from it.

Hartley must see a benefit in it.

Makes sense to warm up for 2nd half rather than run out and start. Utd did it at ht in the ny day derby.

Does any other team in the world do this?

Was a novelty at first, but the more i see it, the more i seem baffled by it.

Whoever Hartley manages will do it. If it's what he sees fit to do, then so be it.

My question is in all of hartleys regime have we ever come out of the blocks fast after HT?

Also for all of these newfangled methods we still pick up a huge amount of training injuries.

Manchester United did it under Ferguson. They had a dedicated area in the changing room to do it though rather than pitchside.

At home games should find a space inside to do it,then run out ready for action. away different,if there is space do it inside.

When Hartley first introduced it at Dens I thought it seemed a sensible thing to do but I can't for the life of me remember the last time Dundee played particularly well in the second half. Few times we have played brilliant in the first half but have never been able to keep it up for 90 minutes.

Hartley needs to take a look at why that is. Whether it is to do with our half time routine or the subsitutions not making an impact I don't know.
