Best Dee Goal Scored Outside the City

Excluding the many great goals scored at Dens and Tannadice, what's the best you've witnessed.

I was blown away by this goal at Pittodrie. GGH's dummy, Stewart's run, the Tank's flick and Stewart's finish. Sublime.

The Pole's goal at McDiarmid is another I'll never forget. Box to box genius.

I remember being at fir park for this game and thinking we’d wait a long time to see a better goal than Shug Robertson’s opener.. what a strike. He done it at Castle Greyskull as well.

I’m sure I was there too mate, mind when the game went quiet someone shouted “oi goarm, gonna move. We canny see the game” ? Fair play to him he had a good chuckle at that.

Beauty of a strike right enough. What a left peg shug had on him. Shame he never had much mobility ala Gav. Oh for another Gav Rae like the one in that clip. ?

Gav's goal wasn't bad too. We used to do really well through there. Many a happy Saturday.

Sorry for ending this thread before it really starts but for those of us that are old enough and were there Erich Schaedler at Muirton. No clip so the goal is simply consigned to legend but no other player in the world ever would have been brave (stupid) enough to put themselves in the situation to score therefore best goal ever scored by any Dundee player ever.

Ever.

By the way you think St. Johnstone are hammer throwing b******s now? Back then they were almost murderers.

I was at that game, Wed night  near the end of the season got beat 3-2 if i recall correctly .  Shades ended up knocking himself out i think as he ploughed through players to score.

PB is correct about Saints being a dirty side at that time...they had a good few players who loved to stick the boot in John Pelosi being the main culprit.

Lots of trouble on the terraces that night as well and on the way back to the Football Special train, that got totally wrecked on the way back.

Yeah, Pelosi got banned for a period for breaking (from memory) Hamilton player's leg. The lad was only about 5'7" but an aggressive little *******.
