Wattie, you always speak a bit o' wisdom in your posts, and I certainly respect all your contributions to the forum.

So on that basis, if we turn oot the same team against Killie, are we .....

1)   Going to produce anither high skilled, hard working, performance ?

 2)  Pick up a rewarding 3 points at hame ?

I am no intae this forecasting stuff maself, but I did say in posts before the Aberdeen game, I expected DFC to turn it on, and pick up at least one point.

I based that simply on past experience of seeing Dundee rising to the occasion when the cards were heavily stacked against them ?

Will they go oot against Killie with the same attitude as they did against Aberdeen ?    Or take it doon a pace.....and fight fir a point ?

Going to be absolutely freezing at this one and a midweek end of January game would usually be the lowest home crowd of the season but hopefully we can break the 5,000 mark again as we're now 3 unbeaten and scored 7 goals in the last 2 games.

No way should we be fighting for a point at home v Killie Gedee.

Tighten up the defence a notch and we should be looking for 3 points.

Important game in Paisley on Wednesday as well. If the dabs can win there and bring St Mirren down to earth that will help us a lot.

Depending on how results go we could be either 18 points or six points ahead of the play-offs come Saturday night. Four big days coming up.

Harkins loves tearing Killie apart so I think we'll win this one. I just hope Hartley doesn't stick him on the bench again.

Peesonally, I would go with the team that started at Aberdeen if available. Any ideas of playing for a draw need to be scrapped (don't think PH would be considering this anyway)

I've not seen too many comments on Jim Mac's performance at Pittodrie on Saturday. Special mention for him as I thought he was outstanding. Tackled hard from the first minute to the last, covered the most ground on the field and used the ball well.

C'mon Dundee..

There is no doubting that we can raise our game when we need to.

It's just that sometimes the *need* doesn;t seem quite as apparent as *we* might think it is.

I do get tired of saying it, but every single gamwe should be viewed as a *must win*, and with the performances we've seen the team out in this season there is NO reason why we should not hand Killie their erses.

Good point on Jimmy Mac Boba, much as GGH draws criticism for his lethargic style I think McAlister's 'style' draws criticism but I think he's one of those players who just go about his business. His effort can't really be questioned even if some folk don't rate his ability.

Thanks gedee although my wife thinks I'm a dippit git. ;)

As we saw at county away, a lot of the players were knackered after playing for 70 mins vs the dabs with 10 men. Sometimes it's better to rotate the squad a wee bit if you've got a few games close together. Doubly so if some have knocks like Thomson, tank and gadz.
