Would You Think Less Of Nm If He Accepted Help From an Older, Experienced Manager?

The suggestion of NM benefitting from a "Mentor" was raised on here a few weeks ago. And I did spend time searching (unsuccessfully) for that thread.

However, maybe it doesn't matter,  because , not only are issues/situations constantly changing with DFC, in above Topic I'm asking a different question.

The question is...In the present circumstances, would he (if not immediately) accept this offer? Would he find it demeaning? Would you as fans find it so?

NM, if he is honest (& I think he is) continues to insist (basically) all is going to plan. On the basis I suppose, that big changes take time.Think most of us

might accept this And maybe given time he may prove just how right he was. But meanwhile, would an "Old Experienced Head" help keep him on track, in

the way of...While things may be developing (long term) in the right direction, the "here & now" must be taken care of, before things get worse. I'm talking

Results & Points. I'd understand why some might say, why go for the "mentor stuff" why not just replace him. Maybe we should. But I'm not sure we should.

If any of above makes sense, I would really appreciate any comments. thoughts, ideas.I think NM deserves to be backed & treated with dignity. And this may

be a way to do it. Ultimately though, I, (like  DFC fans & supporters everywhere) want a team/club to be proud of. I would love to hear the BOD views :chaplin:

No but can’t see this being set up now...

Thanks DBK for immediate response ... I think I might be trying to find some centre ground, whereby a solution might be found, without too much up heaval or disruption. And everyone can hold on to their dignity. But as already said, all that really matters to me, above any feelings for any manager or players ... is DFC 's ultimate success on the field.

Even if a new manager came in, he would have to start all over again ... And although that might be the only way to do it, I'm still not sure.

Everyone has an opinion on our present situation ... And I would hate any post to enter the realms of, anger & negativity. We need positivity & solutions. Assuming there is an answer to our present "problems"

(Would like to clarify something I added in that last sentence above ... In "financial terms, the BOD have given NM plenty backing)

A better word may have been "support"   Again maybe he is getting plenty encouragement & support. But certainly for us, on past experience comms. are not their strongest point (imo)
