Nicky Riley Released By The Club

The club issued a statement on the official website earlier today regarding his release. We would like to add to the clubs statement by wishing Nicky all the best for the future and we hope that he finds another club soon, he was a big part of the deefiant season and for that he will never be forgotten as one who wore the dark blue.

Riley was a brilliant player when playing but really unfortunate with injuries. Shame really

Great servant for the club. Even through the recent dark times. A Dundee player in the mould. Wee, wirey and full o tricks and talent (Billy Steele (so ma dad tells me) Strachan, Murphy, Jocky etc etc) I thought he brough loads o talent and charisma tae Dens and I'm sure if he wasnae crocked so much, Hartley woulda found a place for him. Thanks for the memories Nicky. I for one will miss ya.
