Hopefully we can restart the classes, and get more organised and really promote our kids programmes, when the new development coach has started. Use that website we have, with a list of time & dates of classes (like what every other club, with at least a decent youth standard has), this is what Gerry needs to be doing. You don't need to take months to plan these things, just stick it on the website and promote it!! We are up against competition from 'that' club, and need to up our game pronto.

Still believe we could of prevented all of this, and kept the classes running. There is talent out there, lets grab it, not close the door on them.

The community classes are not free. The kids pay for them (or their parents do). If there are 30 kids paying £3-£3.50 per class that must go some way to paying the coaches wages. The classes my boys attend have at least 30 kids amongst all the age groups.

If we are charging this maybe how we don't just do open door sessions.

I hear that 2 of the 5 community coaches are being kept on after all.

We're currently searching for a development coach with the necessary credentials/badges so we can receive the higher level of funding.

How does this work Wattie.

We had Gavin Burns who had the necessary credentials but he has since left.

If we never received the highest level of funding when he was there, how can we receive it now without him, or as you say bring in someone that had the same qualifications. We would be in the same boat as last year or we are currently operating with less qualified coaches now.

Also believe St Johnstone have been informed they have not been granted Elite status next year, so i am sure somwone at the club knows already if we have been granted it
