Another poor display from randy against youngsters last night. How can he say in the press that he’s not been given a chance when he can’t even do it against 18 year olds?

I take it nm didn’t see him play before giving him a contract because he’s just not very good.

He can’t protect the ball, he’s got no tricks to beat defenders, he’s lazy and doesn’t want to do the defensive side of the game. No right foot either.

Probably time to cut our losses at the end of the season. Not all signings work out the way you want them to.

Yep.

It's come back to bite us (and him ), that 2 of the Gaffer's summer signings that 'haven't worked out', are both in the forward areas.

Do you think Wattie that players can 'work' a move back home?

I think he's got ability but I don't think he fancies it here. Homesick, new bairn whatever it is. He just doesnae seem to give a stuff. Unfortunately.

I think there’s certainly an element of that mate.

Possibly he underrated Scottish football as having lived there the Dutch think they’re the best at everything although I liked them at the same time.

I did notice in his last season over there that he had no assists or goals in his last 20 games so I wasn’t too confident about his signing. He might be one of these players who goes on the wain earlier than most for whatever reason. He certainly doesn’t seem to like the rough stuff handed out by defenders here.

Anybody that goes to DFC games (occasional game, when he's maybe made a short appearance)

will be able to tell me if he's shown, even tiny bit talent? Seen a wee TV clip o' him in a DFC Jersey.

Nearest he got to a goal wis a pretty bad miss that was followed by tryin' to  kick bits oot the post.

He played quite well as a sub on early for an injured Deacon against St Johnstone (3-2 win at Dens) and had some very nice play which brought us up the park and Easton for them didn't get a moments rest. I'd probably say that he wasn't THAT bad a player in his early appearances, he had some bits of movement that contributed something but his delivery always seemed to just be lacking.

He was very poor in the home defeat to Hamilton but was, giving him the benefit of the doubt, out of position and making his first start since the start of the season. Since then, he's made quite stroppish social media posts and had a few moments at 20s games that don't reflect too well on him.

The Dutch top flight is not a poor level, certainly at least as good as our team, he just doesn't seem to fit well. I think he probably has some sort of ability of some sort but it just doesn't seem to be coming out. Got a decent strike of a football and has some sort of physique so you would think he'd be able to do a job of some sort.

Thank you Harry ... I think he kinda looks the part (physique wise) & in the occasional interviews I saw, a kinda happy, positive attitude.

Must have had some fitba talent (as weel as a questionable musical/singing talent) Maybe jist disnae like DFC/Dundee & wants hame.

I thought he looked ok v Celtic in the cup seemed to get up and down the line and did a decent job helping Kerr defensively

Getting injured in that game was a huge blow for him.

His PM’s to some boy on Facebook/Twitter the other night were a massive minter. Sending topless photos to prove he isn’t lazy.

Some boy.

Fucking hell. Footballers shouldn't be allowed the internet. Josh Meeking's Twitter bio is incredible, he's fallen for a pyramid scheme.

Any chance of including that as part of their contract deal. no Tweets pay will be £100 per week, Tweets will be deducted at the rate of £10 per tweet? Only half joking!#

Maybe should have used £1000 per week and tweet charged at £100 per tweet.

more realistic example.
