He's quit just before their biggest game of the season v Partick!

I've posted in the DFC forum as it could have a bearing on our season.

There must be either a disagreement or a personal (non-football) reason for this you'd think. Or maybe a job elsewhere on the horizon?

Doesn't make sense otherwise and he has seemed to be committed to their cause. The more disruptive it is to them the better.

The two reasons given are 1. a meeting with the owner earlier this week 2. Coyle's family is down in England.

I'm guessing McGregor wasn't overly supportive. McIntyre was sacked with the team 10th and they're now rock bottom with a 4-1 thrashing of Dundee at Dens their only win in 16 games going back to the start of November.

Surprised by the timing, but not surprised that he's walked/sacked....there was a lot of bluster in his interviews, and little to support it on the pitch (except at Dens, of course :slaphead:).

I really hope they're going down this time (+ Hamilton, please)....even though it robs Cobra of both his 'home games' when Dundee head up the A9.

Surely he isn't leaving to join the Arabs and destroy two teams ambitions in one season. :o

Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing for us. Could go either way. They are crap but they can out-fight us any day of the week.

Mcintyre will be back there before end of play tomorrow imo, they will struggle to get somebody else in the middle of a relegation battle. He said after he was sacked that him and the owner never ended on bad terms.

Maybe that lovely man Derek Adams fancies a triumphant return instead of the shoot out for the Championship. :lol2:
