I suspect the expression "shedloads of money going on Clyde" hasn't been used since the early/mid 1960's :)

Back then, they had class players like Harry Haddock, Harry Hood, a young Joe 'Bilsland' Gilroy & Alex Bryce, and even younger Jim 'baldy headed ****' McLean, and were managed by John Prentice for a few seasons....they yo-yo'd between Div1/2 but made a couple of cup semis & a few top 6 finishes.

Another 'club with tradition' that collapsed after the Glasgow slum clearances moved their support out to the new towns, and into mass unemployment.

Whilst 4/1 is generous given current form, I wouldn't be going in too heavy against Peterhead today. They're top of the league for a reason and I am fairly certain the manager will be telling them in no uncertain terms, whallop Goodwillie and the games as good as won.

Hibernian, Kilmarnock, Livingston & St Mirren for me today.

But Killie more than covered the Clyde bet.bad luck WW St M letting you down

Yeah, was a sickener. I'm more than up over the year and this brought an end a run of four weekends of good returns.

Will have a nibble on the boxing tonight, too.
