Tele reporting we have turned down a £1 million bid from a Scandinavian side for him. Not sure if it has any truth but if it does thoughts?

Would be some profit on a guy who has played half a dozen games.

Got to keep him at all costs, but amazing after 10 games or so he is worth £1million also shows the club is strong financially.

I would take the money and use Waddell for the rest of the season.

Not sure he has justified that price tag to be quite honest. Not been overly impressed with him despite his big name status.

His challenge on Sunday could have went either way and could have been a penalty. He gave the referee a decision to make anyway.

Would sell him with the proviso that he stays at Dens until end of season  if that is possible - if that is a deal then we could buy the desperately needed scorer and a Caulker  replacement and maybe still have some  a few quid left over .

Feasible .

I think Waddell has already proven he can handle the pressure, and to be honest, I thought him and Hendry proved that they were decent enough in the Premiership. Plus he is always good for a goal at corners.

Agreed. And what should have happened with Hendry if he was to be sold at all.

Definitely shouldn't be selling anybody now.

End of the season £1m for Caulker would be good business based on performances so far. He's been steady enough but not a stand out. Kasunga has looked more impressive IMO.

It seems straightforward to just bring Waddell in but after the disruption that Hendry departing caused, I'd be very worried. We finally pick up a point and have a settled team who look like they can compete for a couple of games and lose an integral part of that.

I like Waddell but I do think we've maybe got a tendency to overhype him tbh. With Hendry next to him, I thought he looked quite good but without him, I've felt he's actually struggled a wee bit. He's had a very good breakthrough season for a centre-back and will be a better player next year but right now, we've got one of the youngest squads in the country (we're certainly the youngest in the league - it's actually quite massive compared to our bottom six rivals) and we badly need that bit of experience.

For Caulker, he's come here when he genuinely could have earned a lot more elsewhere. I think there have been superhuman expectations but I think it's the case that the guy has needed to play a few games and get his confidence and sharpness back up. I don't really think he's going to run off just yet. If he puts in a few good performances and is happy to move on, he'll have plenty of offers in the summer.

My feeling is that, based on what he said before about McCann, he will see the season out at the very least.

Would be a no brainer to take the money and run if we were safe from relegation.

But we simply can't due to the play off possibility.

If we sold him weakening us further and went down, the 1 million in the bank would be completely offset by the cost of relegation. Look at the losses the mid table fun team are clocking up for simply making up the numbers in that league.

He can't go anywhere until the summer.

Timing, once again, dreadful.

Big games coming up, offers from club(s) to part with key players.

Keep him and build a team for next season with him in it.

Should learn a lesson from ditching Bain, Hendry and Allan in the transfer window.
