If these Celtic fixtures are correct there is a decent chance of them winning the title v Rangers. Some Celtic fans might want to lose at Easter Road to set up a humiliating afternoon for Rangers.

Hibs (A)
Rangers (H)
Hearts (A)
Kilie (H)
Aberdeen (H)

While I understand the frustration, I still feel an enormous debt of gratitude to the SPFL for giving the Doon Derby the best possibility of happening.

Had they put it any other date or even earlier in the weekend, we wouldn't have had the occasion we had.

I did spill a bit of 'love wee' that night.

It has previously been posted on this forum that we are supposed to be playing three games at home in the post split fixtures. We have already played Ross County, Motherwell and St Johnstone twice at home which means that to get three home fixtures we will have to play one of these clubs three times at home this season.

I believe that when the SPFL compiled the fixture list for the current 2017-18 season they assumed that St Johnstone would be in the top 6 after 33 games and Kilmarnock in the bottom 6.

All the SPFL need to do it seems is predict the top 3 (Rangers, Celtic, Aberdeen) and the bottom 3 (this year probably would have been Hamilton, Dundee, Motherwell) and have alll these teams finishing on 16 home games at the split.

Unless one of the predicted top 3 finish in the bottom half or any of your predicted bottom 3 finish in the top half you ensure that each team at least finishes with 19 home and 19 away.

Looking at how things will finish at the split Ive no idea what on earth they were predicting - just looks like a random pot shot. I think a couple of the top half teams will get only 18 home games this season and a couple of the bottom half will end up with 20 home games.

Hi HK.

On the contrary I do believe that the SPFL draw up the fixture list trying to assume which teams will finish in the top 6 pre split.

St Johnstone in the past few seasons have finished in the top 6 pre split and the SPFL assumed that they would do likewise this season

If you read my post again Islay, you will see that I was saying the same thing. I'm confused as to why you start your reply with "On the contrary..." ?

People talking about Celtic Rangers being a title decider. It isn’t a title decider because only one team can win it.

If Rangers beat Celtic the title isn’t won therefore it isn’t a decider.

Fixtures can't be released because the police aren't happy about the possibility of Celtic winning the league against Rangers. What a farce.

Daily Record is saying there's still no agreement and could rumble on to Thursday or Friday so I presume the "leaked" Celtic fixtures is typical internet makey up story like McCann losing his job the other month?

Well with the fixtures being emailed to broadcasters and the police you would expect some folk to be texting their mates when they see them in their inbox at Sky or wherever.
