Signs for Hamburg.

David Bates, signed from Raith Rovers and appeared 17 times for Rangers has been allowed to leave and managed to get a four year deal at Hamburg.

Another youngster taking his chance abroad (most likely in bundesLiga2). Good luck to the lad.

Brave move and potentially a good one for him. Wish him all the best.

Assuming Hamburg do go down, there'll be enormous pressure to go up first time.

They're very proud of being the only team to play in the 1 Bundesliga in every season sice its formation and the fans will demand an immediate return.

I was adamant they were relegated a couple of seasons ago until you said that, they've flirted with it a lot recently.

Take it Raith and Rangers don’t get Compo because he is moving abroad?

There used to be this weird ambiguity in the rule where nations had different ages but it is a Fifa rule now so there will need to be a fee agreed or it'll go to a tribunal. Raith definitely entitled to money regardless of a sell on clause as there is this calculation now where teams who have contributed to a players development years get a cut (so United will have likely got a few thousand in the Hendry deal).

They've won the relegation playoff for the last two seasons but look to be away this time.

St Pauli are close to the drop in the 2 Bundesliga but that'll be a great derby if they manage to stay up.
