With Bain being 99.9999% likely to be moving on the summer and Parrish still not had his contract renewed, who do you think will make a good No 1 for us next season? Is Parish worth another 12 months?

I see The Sun has reported that an unnamed Scottish premier club is interested in Cammy Bell...

Billy O'Brien, formally of Man City and had a loan spell at St Mirren, has been linked with us. Looks a really outstanding prospect and looked really solid on his St Mirren debut at Dens but had some really morbid personal issue which you can see if you google him so requested his contract was ripped up at Macclesfield at the start of this season.

I'd be happy enough to keep Parish if he was relatively cheap but I would hope that we at the very least sign another senior 'keeper to provide depth. Ferrie and Gourlay desperately need proper season long loans where they can be left and given a chance - Gourlay has only been away a few months at a time and hasn't really had an extended spell to get going anywhere. It's maybe unfair of me and it may not have been the clubs fault but I'm a bit disappointed in our handling of them tbh, pretty sure a League One club would have taken either of them for a season which would have been great for them.

I would think O'Brien + Bell would be a good improvement on what we have tbh.

Read that article about Bell as well. Definitely think he would be an upgrade on Parish. Great keeper on his day and also like Jamie MacDonald at Killie although he does throw in a clanger every now and again.

An improvement on Parish is required. Has done Ok but far too many goals conceded where I've felt a good goalkeeper would have saved that. Doesn't make enough amazing saves to make up for errors either. A fine keeper to have as backup though.

There will be plenty better keepers out there within our budget so imagine someone else will come in.

I would be fairly happy with Parish remaining as number one. He's made some good saves at important moments in games, the most recent being against Hearts.

I don't have an issue with Parish, I wouldn't be losing my sh*t if he was our number one but like in every position, i'd be happy to get an 'upgrade'.

Yeah, Parish is ok. I like him.

Agree he could have done better at a few goals but his distribution been decent (Ibrox 3rd goal aside) and he's definitely not out his depth or a bombscare by any means.

A 7/10 from me.

Thought the First few games, he started, he looked just ok, since the beginning of this year, not for me, losing far to many simple goals, there just has to be far better quality out there, but Neil McCann has already, taken the easy option before, giving AJ an extended contract, when it was obvious he didn't have it. Our so called Manager, has been at it again recently, giving Spence another two years and Meekings another Contract, when he's also been extremely poor since Christmas, same with Kusunga, not Premier Standard, but all are easy re signings, rather than getting off your backside and physically going out and watching future signings yourself, so looking at our Managements record recently, Parrish will probably be given an extended contract, being yet another Easy option.

Our previous keeper was often lambasted for some of the goals he lost. Parish seems to get a remarkably easy ride by comparison.

I'll be extremely disappointed if he's our starting keeper next season. I think he's the least talented 'No.1' we've had for quite some time.
