  1. 1. What is your view on £30 entry for top category games at Dens?

  2. 2. Will the new ticket prices stop you attending games?

Third question is massively misleading IMO as it suggests the playing budget would need to suffer in order to scrap the proposed 30 quid category which simply isn't true and also suggests that higher gate prices equals higher revenue and squad budget.

Not if less people buy at higher price and more people buy at more reasonable price or same price as this season. Basic economics. Supply and demand.

Impossible to answer if this poll is for the 18/19 season.

Do not know what league we will be in.

Unless it's a poll based on our continued SPL status?

Do we know what the £30 ticket entails yet?

Exactly this, need to wait and find out what it is. Plus I feel many people (not on here) are getting confused with the season ticket price and PATG prices. IMO season ticket prices are the best we could of hoped for.

FPS plugged a shortfall of £350k according to the last accounts, Now they've increased the cost of matchday tickets to help with the running the club. If you don't want them to increase ticket prices, where do you want the money to come from? The only place I can think of is the first team playing budget. We can't reduce our rent or our bills.

Personally I think the third question is ok because if we have to find money from somewhere next season and it can't be from the turnstiles then it surely has to come from the wage bill.

Having said that if the consensus is that the question isn't fair then I can delete it.

If it's possible for the club to announce ticket prices it's possible for us to say whether the ticket prices they've announced are acceptable.

We're odds on to stay up so for the purposes of this poll you can assume that Dundee will be in the Premiership next season.

Season ticket prices are ok early bird periods. A longer period would be better in an ideal world.

The reaction has purely been over the £30 new ticket price category. Not season ticket prices.

£30 ticket prices will not cover our losses and any increased short term revenue may be minimal as more fans refuse to pay it.

It's not a choice of £30 for the top games or 6 figure losses.

£30 ticket prices for all home games against Rangers, Celtic and United at Dens could easily amount to a £100k increase in income.

Let's say the board have decided they need to find £100k for season 2018/19 because they're sick of paying for the club's losses. Where do you propose that £100k comes from if ticket prices remain static and the player wage bill remains the same?

While money might have to come from somewhere you've narrowed the options a bit on question 3. It can't be easy to cover all the bases on the issue though.
