A fairly young Dee team today, only Waddell, Curran & El Bak with much first team experience.

Dundee 2-1 up at HT, Henvey & Scott the scorers to put us 2-0 up, Buddies got one back just before HT.

El Bak subbed at HT.

A great chance for them to finish well & hopefully hold onto 2nd place, when Hearts & Celtic catch up on games.

Disastrous 2nd half, so far.

Scott subbed, maybe to be on the bench again on Saturday.

Waddell sent off for a late tackle & St.Mirren equalise from the free kick, 2-2.

Henvey sent off for dissent.

So, 9 men to hold onto a point, maybe little chance of sneaking that win now?

Final score 2-2.

Celtic were playing Motherwell & Hearts playing Falkirk at the same time, results not on the league site yet.

Maybe a bit of a wait to see if both drop any points, and find out if that point might be enough to give the Young Dees 2nd place.

Two goals in the opening seven minutes, thought we were going to run up a cricket score but St Mirren fought their way back into the game. Well taken goals by Scott and Henvey. Second half we fell out of game a wee bit. Waddell's red card a bit harsh. Similar to his challenge at McDiarmid earlier in the season. Thought a yellow would have sufficed. They scored immediately afterwards and we were up against it when Henvey was ordered off. They hit the post and bar, also some good saves by Ferrie and excellent blocks by his defenders, but we were fortunate to get away with a point at the end.

Thought El Bak did particularly well in the first half.

Good season overall, though, and Hearts need 4 points from their last two games to overhaul us for runners-up. They play Killie at home and Celtic away.

I see Celtic lost to 'Well today, and drew with County on Thursday, and can only get to 49 points now. They can do Dundee a big favour by beating Hearts on 30th to give our lads 2nd place.
