- More than 10 of the 20 clubs in La Liga

- More than 10 of 20 clubs in Serie A

- More than 10 of 20 clubs in Ligue 1

- 31,839 more than Hearts

- 60,004 more than Aberdeen

Interesting set of figures bud, although for the life of me, I can’t see what they have to do with DFC. :)

Hibs have played 2 more home games than Hearts. Hearts have a bigger average attendance than Hibs I think.

Just watched them.. Allan is some player and both teams had everything we dont. Pace, power, aggression, strength and shooting ability.

in saying that I did not think we looked too bad in our short highlights package. We just seem to lack belief, conviction and a few all of the above.

It seemed an exceptional, open, game....with lots of incident, and the unusual sight of the 'calm' manager sent to the stand while the 'excitable' manager behaved himself.

.....one wee (red) amendment though :)

Our highlights on Sportscene didn't show the extent to which we 'battered' the Motherwell defence/goal in the final 10-15 minutes, not did it show by far the worst of our misses, AJ's unnecessary extra touch to make his target even smaller, which he also overhit.

It was a fairly open & evenly matched game, and we did actually play some good stuff at time....to balance out the stuff that would have you tearing your hair out, if I had enough to get hold of.

It was interesting listening to Robinson's interview, highlighting how important dead ball moves are, with so many games very tight, and that to emphasise his point all 3 goals came from dead balls. Just a pity we seemed so unprepared for theirs, especially the lack of organisation for their winner, with no-one paying any attention to Kipre wandering round the back unmarked behind Holt, who already had his man covered.

Excellent summary WS. I'd actually forgotten AJ's extra touch fiasco....

Allan didn't want to play for us ...f**k him we move on ..

I think he clearly did at the time from his performances and interviews. Never understood the criticism he got from a minority when he was here and certainly don't understand it now he's gone.

We (one of the worst teams in the league) somehow managed to get him on loan from the biggest and best club in the country. He was our main man creative wise. He had an injury and operation in the middle of his spell with us but came back and delivered again for us to become our main and pretty much only creative threat again.

The 2nd best (arguably) team in the country this season came calling to the biggest and best team in the country on transfer deadline day and asked if they could have him on loan.

He joined them and now starts and stars week in and week out for arguably the 2nd best team in the country this season playing in front of almost 4 times as many fans as we get.

We didn't even start him half the time he was available for our all season long relegation threatened struggling team. We had a top drawer player and we struggled to make full use of him.

We move on as you say, but boy have we missed him.

You don’t half like to belittle our team mate, why are we even discussing a guy who was on loan to us, played a handful of games, then asked to leave, I agree with Charlie, he is no longer anything to do with Dundee, forget him and move on.
