First & foremost, it is what happens on the Park that counts. We awe want a Club & Team of Players we can all be proud of.

Two things however, that I've kept raising in the last two seasons : The ither lot are still DOON & us, as the City Premiership

Club, should be grasping EVERY opportunity to build & consolidate our leading position. The other thing is all all about PR &

Communication. In John Nelms & Neil McCann , I think we have two of the best for these important roles. Well Done DFC:chaplin:

Yet another reason for people, to quick to criticise, to keep their mooth shut till they know the whole story, I,ve been criticised for saying this before, but I,m loving the way this club is being run right know. We don’t need to know every single thing that,s going on instantly.

It's great that this is happening. Would love to be there but work makes it impossible.

I wonder if the club might consider streaming this on DFCTV. I'm sure there would be plenty interest.

The two things I said in a few posts back I'd  like to come back on.

The post opened up by saying, what happens on the Park (& what the DFC fans see as Club/Player development & progress) is in my opinion, where it all starts ... And no white-washing (bending of the truth) is ever gonna fool Dundee Fans/Supporters. But the point I made about NM & JN was genuine & came from the heart. Both are up-front straight-talking guys, and whether you go along with all they say, is not the point I am trying to make ...

The point is, I believe they mean it ...They are both articulate  imo) not without a sense of humour (which helps to put a point across)

The main criticism I have of JN is he does not use his skils often enough, when it comes to opportunities to get over message (or just have a general update conversation) with the DFC Fans. Any (& I mean ANY opportunity ) to keep reminding & selling the idea, that DUNDEE FC is the City Premiership Club, must be used. There is nothing (imo) to fear in keeping fans up to date with regular "open conversations & questions". I understand, it is not for everyone, but (imo) there is a great deal to be gained & very little to lose.

Possibly the best general ambassaders for the Clubs are the Dundee Players (I am NOT referring to "thon stuff" in the newspapers ... I am talking about, relaxed, informal, visits by player &manager if possible) to schools. clubs or anywhere at all that has active/non-active/potential Dundee Fans ...Good for all fand. And good for ALL players.

Sorry if I am bletherin on too much, but I believe there are now opportunities to blow "thon ither lot" richt oot the watter !!

& apologies to Cobra. This was meant to be a response to DEETV filming live or/& recording this opportunity. Good Idea.

Maybe some of us dinnae buy into all that NM says, because (tbh) he does sometime go on/appear to conradict himself.

Thankfully it's no much eh ken much aboot  But he's aye willing to speak truth, as he sees it/lays himself on the line:chaplin:

Ahreed. Would ne good as long as we can hear the questions as well as the answers.

I really hope the club makes this widely available. I don't think they did last time.

The DFC media team understandably asks the manager exactly what he wants to hear. The local media want to keep the club onside so they don't ask awkward questions and the national media don't care enough to put the manager on the spot, so this is probably the closest we'll get all year to some probing questions.

This is what I'd ask the manager if I could make the meeting...

Why do we struggle so badly at Dens, especially against weaker teams? Why can the players not recover from going a goal down (we've fallen behind 10 times at home in the league this season and lost all 10)? Is the home support too demanding?

Do you think letting Scott Allan leave was the best decision for Dundee? Did you feel at the time we had enough creativity in the team to deal with his departure?

Do you think you are a better manager than 12 months ago? What lessons have you learnt?

Do you agree that United are shite?
