Was told tonight jocky was asked to coach the fourteens.AFTER jinky had been asked to do it!! Ray McKinnon was also approached but not sure what capacity that was in and also Ian Jenkins was offered a post but on less than half his existing wage at the sfa.there is though a guy coming in can't remember his second name though. Kevin is his first name an ex junior player currently doing some kids coaching elsewhere.

Ray McKinnon? Is he not Brechin's manager? Strange if we're asking him. Not a hope in hell of getting him in.

Nice that we're being ambitious I suppose though.

time will tell then.don't shoot the messenger. Which part do you think is drivel out of interest? Because I know it's fact

Ray MacKinnon. Know him quite well, fact.

Ray Mckinnon - hardly, currently manager with Brechin City

Jenks - SFA coach currently coaching Elite players at St Johns

Jinky - why would he

Kevin who?

Is it true they also asked Mourinho and he is thinking about it if Chelsea dont win the league, he may take the post of Dundee FC under 14s next year on the proviso they dont play their games on Riverside public parks because he is frightened of planes!

We have an academy page now where the club could add news of coaches etc, would remove all the hearsay, although the academy page currently only shows team photos and fixtures from last week!

Wow, Dusan was only saying what he heard.

No need for the sarcasm. It's replies like McDees and oooshhtt that stop guys starting threads. It was thrown open for discussion not ridicule.

Hardly sarcastic stating 'facts'.

Thread is nothing more than stirring the pot trying to undermine the club when things are going well imo, if I'm allowed one.

Kevin Lee is an SFA regional manager, was he not a coach at Dundee before, working alongside Gavin Tinley as community coaches.

You could bring in the best coaches in Scotland but they need to know their purpose and the vision for Dundee FC Youth Academy in order to do a decent job.

Nelms and all he previously said regarding the Youth Academy has not materialised

The youths are currently training indoor at Manhattan works, where perviously they were training outdoors at Riverside on a similar surface.

The youths are still in the performance league.

The youths have lost some of the better coaches

Not sure if there is anything else that has changed.
