On holiday in the 70s at Gairloch with some mates. Harold Davis owned the Creag Mohr Hotel and we went there every night for a week. Some DFC photos on the wall. My tipple in those days was Black and Tan. On our last day, just before returning home, we popped in to say cheerio and have a last drink. Harold asked us what we wanted on the house and I asked for a half pint. He said, "You've been drinking pints of black and tan all week so that's what you're having." Good guy.
