Don't know if anyone follows the Bundesliga but Dortmund just lost 1-0 at home to Augsburg in front of 80,000 fans to leave them bottom of the league. Quite remakarkable for a club that's still in the Champions League.

The supporters had a meltdown at the final whistle so the players went into the crowd in an attempt to calm things down. Not often you see that.

This is the Augsburg goal. The defending is terrible. Reminds me of our defence at the start of the Accies game.

There defence was worse that that.

Was like when the St Mirran laddie just strolled threw us.

What seems to be the problem with them, I dont follow there league but something is happening obviously. Do they not have some very good players on their books?

Of the 11 who started in the Champions League final a season and a half ago, 10 of them remain. It's a very bizarre situation but you it's not that rare for big clubs to go down in Germany due to how similar budgets are.

Think it's mainly to do with their shitty defensive performances and inconsistent 11s due to injuries. A few important players have also been pretty much confirmed as leaving for quite a while (Reus maybe to Bayern, Gundogen to Real Madrid and Hummels to somewhere) as well so that's probably had an impact.

Interestingly, Dortmund declined quite a bit after winning the Champions League in 1997 but it was just a couple of bottom half finishes. Still think they will stay up but it is looking a serious possibility that they will fall.
