I see the JN has been appointed to serve on the SPFL board. I hope his fresh approach will benefit Scottish Football as well as DFC.

Good to see. John and Tim are highly thought of in the football world. Professional guys that do want the best for the club! Any of our previous owners/MD's been on the board before?

I've a feeling the Gellatly's might have been involved with the SFA or League boards. Going back a few years though.

Hope they get refereeing looked at with a view to getting var rolled out, stop the inequality and inconsistencies we all see every game.

You are spot on Rev. Ian Gellatly had a position on the board of the old Scottish League i think he could have been secretary if i recall correctly. Early to mid/late 70s.

Ann Budge voted off the SPFL board. Seems she still had time to ensure Hearts kept one of the points they won against Cove while breaking the rules to ensure they stay in the cup.

Good news about Nelms though. Shows how our standing in the game has improved in recent years and suggests JN is highly thought of by other clubs.

Nothing - he'll have extra meetings to go to and will have some input to decision making at the top level but we'll not benefit from it.

Wee bit of respect maybe ! Dundee FC back in the clique that is Scottish Football !  - for the fans nothing.
