Why did he start? McGinn on the bench? Hate being overly critical but the guy is junior standard. Just like the derby. Celtic had obviously identified our weak point. Guy just isn't good enough

Agree. Feel a bit sorry for him because he always tries hard but some boys just don't have the ability to play at this level and he's one of them.

Might have been Hartley not wanting to throw McGinn back into things so quickly (he had to anyway). Would be very surprised to see him start again next week.

Dyer's simply not good enough for this level. Had a couple of conversations with supporters of other clubs who watched the game today and both pretty much started with 'what's that left back all about'.

He's a decent player in the Championship but should never have been in our squad for this season.

I suppose Hartley had a limited budget and took a chance that Dyer would get by at this level, Well, he can't.

Tries hard, he is ok going forward sometimes but struggles defensively. 

Between the 3rd full backs at the club, Irvine is the best going forward and back, overall.

Dyer, unfortunately is the weakest. I dont like saying worst .

Really think that they should tell him not to cross the half way line in games.  Gets the idea into his head that he is next Ashley Cole and he is off bombing down the wing.  A couple of times in the first half he was racing down the wing waiting on the ball and we had lost possession.  If it didn't remind me so much of NYD, it would have been comical.

I must have missed something, I didn't think he was that bad but I'll watch it again. Not being smart I just didn't think he was stand out gash compared to anyone else. We were pretty much second best all over the park and there were guys making poor decisions and playing each other into trouble all game, we were just crap unfortunately and Celtic looked very well organised with some great passing.
