We are devoid of pace. Tippy tappy in the midfield with some midfielders not that comfortable on the ball. For next season we need to sign some forwards with pace, so that we can mix the style up during games. For me we are far too predictable.

We could field a complete team with slow central midfielders this season, we all knew what area's

of the team that were weak, but yet again brought in another SLOW central midfielder, recent Managers

at Dundee were slaughtered on Dundee Fc's various message boards, for doing this SAME thing, but with FAR

less money to spend.

PH has no money to spend on players yet previous managers had far less?

How do you work that one out?

What concerned me about PH is he brought in another centre mid and didnt get in a left winger.

Cant believe a manager doesnt think pace in a side isnt important.

This is aw very de ja vu....

Phucking seek of dundee managers making  the same basic errors.

Overzized unbalanced squad.

The OTHER Managers had far LESS money to spend, as everyone knows.

Is that maybe because the other managers were managing a team in division one / Championship where the finances were more restricted. Hartley hasn't paid a penny for a player but has got us out of that sh1te division and mid table in the Premiership.

If that isn't good enough for the Barry Smith fans and John Brown apologists then I despair.

Do you want to go back to watching the garbage we had to endure under Brown?

The reason for the McGinn signing was probably because we are trying to offload McBride. Left sided players are hard too come by, but it would be great if we could sign some left sided pacy players.

CC, I'm sure there will be players emptied at the end of the season an better brought in. PH needs this close season to finish building his own team, he was left with a lot of players on contracts that Broon and that idiot gave them that he couldn't get rid of because other teams didn't want them or couldn't match their wages.

Re-building takes time and he has to get players in for free that can contribute and help our survival / top six ambitions. We all know we need pace but try getting the pacey player that every club wants for nothing and on the wages we can offer.

Patience is a virtue and lets be thankful that we are where we are now and not where we were two seasons ago.

Were there any pacy, skillful left wingers, who have a good delivery that were availible for nothing during the January transfer window?

Maybe there was on FIFA 15. These sort of players are just sitting on shelves waiting for the likes off Dundee to come along don't you know?
