I quite like Calvin tbh. Want an alternative but think he does quite well taking people on.

Got to improve massively with little intelligence stuff but think Curran is a bigger danger in that sense.

Feel for Calvin. There's evidently a player in there and it's a bit rough on him that up until a year ago he's been a striker all his days. He's young, learning a new position and at least has the cajoles to be brave and make things happen.

I like him. He's not the finished article by any means but I think he has more potential than Curran. Unless he has a breakthrough, I really don't see a future for Curran at this level, he's maybe a late bloomer (like Boyle) but I see a lot of flaws in him. Curse of the winger maybe.

Exactly this. The laddie's progress has been hampered by Brendan Rodgers trying to convert him into a LB as some sort of egotistic "I'm a visionary genius" project.

Yes, I thought he was poor yesterday, gave the ball away very cheaply on a few occasions and didn't track back when getting himself caught way up the park, but every time he got down the left flank, he either tried to take the defender on, hit the byline or swing a cross into the box. Didn't always pan out but this is night and day from the narrow, laboured, turgid stuff we were being served up not that long ago and Calvin should be applauded for that.

Would take Davis as a centre half, Gardyne would give us an option and competition for either wide area or as playing as the attacking midfielder behind Miller instead of McGowan when he does that role, Schalk would be a great signing and Graham is arguably better than Moussa. So all in all these four would be better than what we currently have in the positions they play.

But I will be surprised if we get even two of them.

Only 1 of that lot I'd take is Schalk and that'll not be likely as he is playing in Switzerland

Yeh to be fair he’s the only one I’d want, but was trying to point out that it’s a sad state of affairs that arguably each one of them is better than what we have currently in there positions. That is damming assessment f the players NM brought in during his tenure.

Heard from a couple of folk that we are looking at bringing in Craig Curren from the DABs. On a 3 year deal so hopefully a load of rubbish. I did think at the time it was a good signing for them but he doesn't seem to have done very much for them

Phew. A tad hungover so must have misread it.

Tbf, on first read I took it to mean the same as you, had a bit of a facepalm moment until I realised what he actually meant haha
