The laddie's progress has been hampered by Brendan Rodgers trying to convert him into a LB as some sort of egotistic "I'm a visionary genius" project. Yes, I thought he was poor yesterday, gave the ball away very cheaply on a few occasions and didn't track back when getting himself caught way up the park, but every time he got down the left flank, he either tried to take the defender on, hit the byline or swing a cross into the box. Didn't always pan out but this is night and day from the narrow, laboured, turgid stuff we were being served up not that long ago and Calvin should be applauded for that. That is damming assessment f the players NM brought in during his tenure.

I did think at the time it was a good signing for them but he doesn't seem to have done very much for them
