I'd say we need other options but I don't necessarily agree that we need the spine replaced. Our first choice 11 is competitive enough most weeks and I'd say it's probably the wider areas and striking departments that lack any real depth. Currently O'Dea & Kusunga are doing ok and Boyle has came in and performed well, Woods, Kamara (currently off form but a quality player nonetheless) & McGowan are doing alright in the middle and Miller has been scoring for fun. We've no natural replacements in the fullback/wingback areas or wide left/right and Kenny needs another partner as an alternative to Kallman. There's no doubt we could do with better options down the spine but I don't think we need wholesale changes there as Preston was suggesting. 1
