Just to let you know that Bobby Ford and his wife Isobel, are to be guests of the Club for the match this Saturday.

As you know, Bobby Ford went down in history as he had boasted he scored the very first goal in the SPL when it became the 10 team format in 1975.  I was at the game and I am sure he scored within the first five minutes.

I have checked in Norrie’s book and he played a total of 243 games for Dundee, was at Dens for over 7 years and was of course, one of the team that won the League Cup.

As he lives in Edinburgh, I think it is very rare for him to attend a Dundee match, so I think it will be great to see him.
