My uncontrolable seethe and dread is subsiding a little.

Going by his words on the radio tonight, it seems highly unlikely that the rat will be returning to Dens in any capacity.

One positive from this debacle so far - it’s reminded me that we can do brilliant things when we pull together.

Time to get right behind the new manager and the boys tomorrow. Massive game.

I thought Roarie had started a band "Deacon's midnight runners" and this was his debut single. Saddened to find out you're just in a hopeful mood tbh.

Fecking great.  I'm all for Sports Science.  Does this mean they'll be looking out the giant elastic bands again?

Hopefully get the squad fitter, than our previous so called fitness coach, said on here many times, in the last year, we don't look fit, maybe, our new Manager noticed the same problem.

It covers areas such as physiology, psychology, biomechanics and nutrition.

Hopefully this new guy can help us deal with our wretched home form and our inability to handle going behind in games.

I've been greeting and moaning for 2 and a bit seasons about our results under the last two managers but am buzzing now we have JM in.

Silently admired the job he done up there for years.

It's a big job and McCann's squad at the end of the day but looking forward tomorrow now whereas I wasn't even considering going under McCann.

One team in Dundee 🇫🇷

Fair enough Cobra, all important aspects to consider - after we've mastered the skill, technique, stamina and organisation side of things.

Apologies if this has already been put up Attilio ... I've just read the news

(Early interview when at East Fife, he explains, in part his role with the club)

I like the emphasis on "Intensity at training" & importance of "Clean Sheets"

It's a "kent face" for Jim M. That should be Big Plus for settling in with DFC.

And Blair Doughty is away.

"....Fitness coach Blair has been the club for 3 years and in the position of 1st team fitness coach since the summer of 2017..."

No wonder we lose hundreds of thousands a year!!!!!

Hi travellingdee.

You have hit the nail on the head. In my opinion there are too many ‘jobs for the boys’ in football clubs throughout Scotland and beyond.

I recently calculated that Billy Dodds was receiving an annual salary of £60k when was appointed Assistant Manager of Dundee FC in March 2010 and by my calculations Gordon Chisholm was receiving an annual salary of £72k. These are obscene amounts to pay for a manager and assistant manager of a club playing in Division 1 (Championship) in Scotland. No wonder we went into administration 7 months later with debts of over £2 Million despite Calum Melville bankrolling the club during the bulk of that period.

Providing it involves the use of a football.

Watching the team this season it looks like they have not seen a football from one weekend to the next.

It looks like they haven’t seen each other from one weekend to the next never mind a ball.
