They have a game against Killie to pencil in as well. If they go out of Europe, we will either play 9th/10th March or 16th/17th March.

If they go through however, there is a bit of a nightmare in store. The two games have to be played before the split (as both ourselves and Killie could potentially make the top half) and there is a shortage of games.

With us playing United in a fixed televised game, I predict that the Killie game would go ahead on Monday 6th April (luckily, Killie and Hamilton went out the Scottish Cup early so used last week to play instead of playing a midweek that week but Celtic have Thistle which would have to be moved to the Thursday) and our game will be moved to Tuesday 14th April and the split possibly being impacted.

Worth noting too that the league will be holding off hoping that either us or Killie go on a long losing run which would mean that the game could be played after the split.

That is a complete and utter joke as they postponed a game in January to play a friendly abroad but now we have to wait months to play them because they're too busy?

If they have to play 4 times a week to fit us in then tough sh!t IMO

As long as they remain fresh for their games against the DABs though mind ;)

I would like club chairmen to bring this point up tbh. Fed up of them doing it. Whenever they want.

It's in the rules. Any club can request a postponement at the start of the season and in January.

The scheduling of this game might be complicated by whether or not Sky/BT want to show it live. Even if Celtic go out to Inter, it can't be on TV in a UEFA week unless kick-off is moved to 6pm at the latest.
