At the start of the season, when the new company took it over, I thought they said that the coverage was going to get better! The picture quality is sh**e, and the commentary is even worse!! I don’t want to hear bluster about opposition teams, I am only interested in the Dees, needs a radical shake up in my opinion.

Was much better when DFCSS had it.

Stopped paying when DFCSS were ushered out the door.

What are folks paying for this pathetic 'service'?

I'm the same Every now and then I think about subscribing to the new one but there's a lot of negative comments about it so I'm holding off. I think its about six quid a month.

£72 a year for something that no one seems to be all that happy with? Kind of sums the club up at the moment unfortunately.

Do subscribers ever receive apologies or explanations?

I’ve been refunded in the past when I paid the one off £5 for a game and they had technical issues. Second half of the Celtic game the stream came from a camera on the corner near the dee support for 10-15 minutes. I emailed them and to be fair they replied quite quickly and changed it back to the normal view.

I pay the overseas subscription which is £12 a month so I can see games when away with work. The big issue for me is the streaming from Dens is terrible. When it’s working the quality is decent but it stops and starts frequently and really frustrates the hell out of me. Killie away there was brilliant quality and zero issue with stream stopping. Celtic away, the quality was very poor.

Mans then we get to the commentary. I know the club advertised for volunteers and so we were never getting a professional, but without being personal to the boy, I’d rather listen to Willie f**kin Miller commentate! (And that’s saying something!) earlier in the season Mcpake did a match alongside Tommy and it was pretty decent IMO.

It's £5.99 if you pay monthly, £59.99 for the annual UK option (my option & reasonable for 18/19 full match replays + highlights.interviews). I don't have any problems with the UK service, but I have got a very stable high-speed fibre broadband service & I'm not viewing live.

"no one seems to be all that happy with" is a bit of an exaggeration....a handful on here complain of various issues with the live stream....so they're abroad & could be subject to several technical issues anywhere between the match video transmission to their own pc/tablet/phone.

Some commentaries are taken from the home club's feed, but we now use a contracted service for the video....overall, I suspect the service is isn't as good as was suggested at the summer relaunch, yet.

PS....£120 a year for expats

Thanks for the response WS. It was a genuine question because, as you say, the overall impression given on here isn't particularly positive. As ever though, the forum is only a snapshot of a few folk's thoughts and certainly not a scientific sample.

I appreciate there is a lot of content both current and historic but surely for a lot of folk the live aspect is the main draw? The opportunity to watch matches you can't attend? Maybe not though.

Pleased to hear you're happy with what you receive! 🙂
