This crossed my mind too. Champions League and Scotland caps, then within a couple of months finding yourself back at the club you left for bigger things just a year ago. What would his state of mind/confidence be like?

Precisely. That's why I would rather look elsewhere.

Six months ago he must have thought he was one of the best defenders in the country. Champions League football, Scotland caps, training with the best players and coaches, playing in front of 50,000 and looking forward to winning lots of medals. He's not going to relish a relegation battle at Dundee.

Oh right. Well I think players at clubs like Partick, United and Ross County are not going to be put off as I imagine they'd welcome top flight football. Players are bigger clubs like Celtic though probably wouldn't fancy being involved in our situation.

County, I cant imagine many of their players being hugely keen on a move given they are on a good run and looking on track for promotion. We, on the other hand look heading the opposite way. They'll also be on decent packages from McGregor as well. Could be wrong though.

Be interesting to see who JM brings in - this window is massive.

People have to remember these teams were relegated cause there player wer sh**e . And partick are back in a relegation fight again cause there sh**e

Very true but then one or two players can make a very ordinary side look good and most sides have at least one decent player that could do it it a higher level - even us.

Take them over the road as a perfect example, flying fairly high in the league and in a cup final then sold Armstrong and MacKay Stephen to their ahem 'biggest rivals' at the time. Fast forward a season and they're relegation fodder because in reality they were sh**e.
