Craig Curran done deal.

On loan or is he tearing up his three-year deal at United to sign until 2021 with Dundee?

With McIntyre maybe only here until the end of the season there's little sense in us giving Curran a long-term deal.

Did not Macgregor get fed up of having to put his hands in his pockets every January after Macintyre-Dodd's bad summer Recruitment? County could not afford and neither can we.

MacGregor pulled the plug a bit due to the downturn in the oil industry yes. I was at one of his fabrication sites earlier this month and they are only now starting to pick up work but they doubt he'll be drawn into investing to the levels he did previously at Ross County.

They may have recruited poorly in the summer widows but more than made up for it in January. Try to be positive.

I've been thinking O'Dea might be away, he'll be on a good wage I suspect and while he's still a useful player, he's not irreplaceable. I'd be sorry to see Cammy go though, still pretty young so can still improve and has a great work ethic. Everyone has their price though and if someone was going to offer a decent whack for him then that's football.

IMO NM ruined Cammy, he lost his fast dashes up the wing to fit into Mcpeps tippy tapping style.

Outside the window?

He'll cross the road in the coming days, according to Tam McManus. I don't think the paperwork can be finalised until the window opens.

You can sign players just now, just won't come official until midnight when you are able to email the paperwork to the SFA.

Some fans won't be happy as he is from United, however he did well at County and knows the league. Far better than Mendy. Hope he does well, got to trust McIntyre to build a squad.

They only had one January where he signed a lot of players and that was when he took over. You're mistaken with Adams before him who did it much more.

Just realised that Liam Boyce and Jackson Irvine arrived in Dingwall before McIntyre got the County job so I don't think JM has a particularly great record when it comes to unearthing gems. Hopefully he plays it safe in the coming weeks and signs guys that he knows well like Curran.

Come the summer we might want to get a Director of Football in to try to end our damaging habit of bringing in Yordis, Eltons and Kloks.
