A sensible reply. I'm guessing that most clubs can't afford his wages. If Rangers do a deal with him to pay off the remainder, or most, of his contract then that could allow us to sign him in exchange for Kamara. Not beyond the realms of possibly. His fitness might not be up to scratch though.

That would be my only concern. He’s hardly played for 2 seasons now

St Mirren sign a player from Brighton (who is meant to be decent) and an unknown left back from the Kazahstan league. So they are up to 8 signings now. 

 

Think we need a CM and winger, but we really need to move on some more of the unwanted lot.

With all due respect, how do you know rangers haven’t? Because it’s not out in the press? He’s the forgotten man at Ibrox, and I’m sure if they were approached they’d be inclined to get him off the wage bill as he is clearly out of the frame

He hasn't featured, or not regularly, for 2yrs. He was fined, and successfully appealed, 4 weeks wages. He was replaced as Captain. He's appeared twice in the league this season. He's out of contract at the end of the season and currently available on a PCA.

What makes you think that he isn't available?.

Could ask you the same question about the que of clubs after him. There may we’ll be but it’s not in the press. 

Just cant see this one having any legs. Even if he does get a pay off from Rangers there would be interest elsewhere which would be more attractive than a relegation dog fight with us.

Yes.
