Apologies for pedantry but it's nice to know a wee bit about our native tongue.

McCann never really got the benefit of arguably his three best signings this season (Kamara, Ralph and K Miller).

IMO because of the majority of dross he surrounded them with and the tactics he tried to employ. (Albeit Kamara was signed at the beginning of 17/18 season)

I've opted for an ASDA Islay malt - seriously it's OK, if anyone wants an Islay that isn't too peaty or smoky it's an option. Wee surprise when I went to the cupboard and found two full bottles of Laphroaig where I thought there was only one................ oh dear.

have had a search through my cupboard and found  12yr old Aberfeldy malt. it's very mellow and just a touch of water makes it very drinkable.

just have to hope that JM remembers that he's the manager and not a money making genius trying to find players who can play out of position in pursuit of wins.

What I meant was Ralph and Kamara were injured and McCann was sacked by the time K Miller settled.

Being forced to play Cammy at left back and Curran at right back left us so vulnerable defensively and Spence in the middle offered little protection. With guys like Elton, Madianga, Nabi and Mendy not making an impression it really was a disaster. I blame McCann for a lot of it but he was unlucky with injuries.

It appeared that in the time before he was sacked NM believed KM's best position was wide right or wide left.  How one of this countries most prolific goal scorers was going to score goals from there is anyone's guess.

He wasn't 'forced' to play CK at left back.  We had to play Curran at right back and Kerr left back because NM had failed to see any need to sign any adequate cover in those positions.  He knew months in advance that he wasn't going to give Holt or Aurtenexe new contracts and he failed to bring in any cover for Ralph.

He was forced to deal with our left back problem. I agree it was poor management to not keep Aurtenetxe or find a replacement. I think Holt had to go because him and the manager really didn't like each other.

I think NM should maintain silence about his record.  What is done is done … he may have been a little bit unlucky and he may have worked his balls off to build the team but overall it was a complete phucking disaster and a clusterfuck of change that didn't work out and he should move on and we have to move on.  Last thing I want to hear about is … what if …. and if only ...

excellent advice. He would not repeat his approach, at least I'd be very surprised if he did, and I think that is why he should move on. The more he talks about it the more difficult it gets for him to move forward.

To be fair it's no longer our native tongue and hasn't been for many, many years. It's a language that's spoken by some in this country, most of whom also talk fluent English which is our native tongue.
