Charlie Adam saying he is open to return to Scotland .

Aside from the fact he is a lifelong fan of the club he is EXACTLY the type of Player / Character / Leader that the club desperately needs at this time !

The question is WHY hasn't the manager made this his first phone call when he woke up yesterday morning given the playerss well documented and self proclaimed  love for the club and given he is coming out publicly saying its not about money for him now its about coming in to a side that needs improving and showing people what a good player he still is ?

This would be horrendously inept from our manager/ BOD to not at least pick up the phone to ask if its doable and it should have already happened !!

How do you know he hasn't?.

So my question to you is why haven't we ?

Its been documented prior to today in the lead up to the transfer window that he would not only be available but also open to a return to Scotland..

Armed with this information and for  all the reasons I mentioned do you not think  , just maybe for once ,  the club would have  been best served by being a bit proactive on this one or do you believe sitting back and waiting is the best option ? 

Hers an idea for our manager if on the off chance he's reading this , pick up the phone TODAY and ask the lad if hes keen .. if he is get in bloody well done !

If hes not then fine  we at least tried but sitting around doing nowt is not an option in my book !

Not a hope In Hell that Adam will be signing for Dundee. If he comes back to Scotland it will be with Huns,Hearts or the Sheep

I think we all need to lower our expectations that Charlie Adams would sign for us, footballers have short careers and need to think where the money is coming from for the next 30 years...his head needs to rule the heart on this one... Having said that if Keyes has the cash to splash and matches any offers on the table then what a brilliant signing he would be

Fook me, he must be worth tens of millions. If he's not made enough cash already to see him through the next 30yrs then he's doing something wrong.
