If County win their game in hand midweek against the Pars they'll stretch their lead to eight points (nine inc. GD). That'll mean it's just a matter of when the title is confirmed, leaving United with six dead rubbers to play before the play-offs.

It just brings the inevitable play-off Final nearer.

I'd bite your hand off for that right now, Gedee!

Just realised that Alloa won at Falkirk today. It's getting really cut-throat at the bottom of that league.

Morton 36
Queens 35
Partick 33
Falkirk 32
Alloa 32

We finished with 43 points in the Kerno season. Thankfully the league wasn't so competitive back then.

With both County and Ayr winning last night, it wasn't a great night for UTD and helps a little us to know who we may play in a play-off.  County have all but sewn up the title and Ayr will go above UTD if they beat them Friday and win their game in hand - this would leave UTD with a total of 6 games to move up a division.  That's a big ask and also a reminder to is how hard it is to get out of that division.

Surely incentive enough to outpunch StM and grab the lifeline?

Is that BBC1 Scotland, BBC2 Scotland or BBC Scotland Scotland?.

Presume Scottish Television (STV), either can't afford it or aren't interested?.

Last weekend of the championship and the authorities have R County v Queens on the Friday night. RC likely to be home and dry by then but Queens will be playing for their lives.......if I were a Queens fan not sure how happy I’d be knowing other teams will know what they need to do on the Saturday to get above my team.

Amature scheduling.
