Madianga is a good player in my opinion, and I would like to see him given another chance as I believe JM wrote him off far too quickly (in much the same way McCann did with other players we had). After the (first) Rangers game of this season, all my Zombie loving mates were raving about him and wanting them to sign him. 3
Robert Posted 16 January 2019 Posted 16 January 2019 He's simply a player that doesn't give 100 % and his attitude is questionable to say the least. 2

Exactly right-has ability but cant be arsed tracking back, tackling, breaking play up- nudging the opposition ,giving aeay the odd foul BASICALLY TOO SOFT FOR SCOTLAND- and the referees we have

Two players who are lauded and would apparently walk into this team.

The minute they left though they were sorely missed and all the negativity about what they didn't do was quickly forgotten.
Bobby123 Posted 16 January 2019 Posted 16 January 2019 (edited) Disagree about Hatkins, gave 100% in viirtually every game I say him play May have looked of the pace but I thought he gave what was in the tank Where as I could not say that Madianga gave everything he had Edited 16 January 2019 by Bobby123

Bobby123 Posted 16 January 2019 Posted 16 January 2019 I dont think Stewart gave everything in his tank - with his ability he could have influenced more games but tended to drift in and out.

Funnily enough Si Ferry was talking about Stewart on his latest podcast and said he needed to be left to do his thing as he basically wasn't athletic enough to give a balls out 90 minutes. Harkins was the same in my view, these guys brought something different and if they had both would be at a much higher level. 3
