If you read what McIntyre and Miller have said about Kamara you would expect the player to make himself unavailable to play for Dundee this month. Of course I can't be 100% sure what's going on behind closed doors but I don't think it's unreasonable to assume Kamara is the problem here rather than the manager refusing to to play him or even put him on the bench (despite us being woefully short in midfield). What are we supposed to do if McGowan or Woods gets injured tonight? There is no way the manager would be so irresponsible as to leave Kamara out completely given what we have available. Sorry Cobra but I personally haven't seen anything McIntyre and Miller (or anyone else) have said so as far as I can see its folks putting 2 and 2 together and getting 10. I'm not saying that these guys haven't said the player isn't worth considering but I just haven't read any quotes. 1
Douglasdarkblue Posted 23 January 2019 Posted 23 January 2019 Does anyone have a link to stream the game?

If he is going down a path of refusing to honour his existing contract, then it is indeed a lack of class. If it is our manager not wanting him in the squad because he just thinks he will not perform or a similar reason then that is something different completely. If someone can point me to some concrete evidence either way that would be great. That's not how it works mate, you need to pick a side and just stick to it, the important thing being you've picked a side...... Despite not knowing the facts.

He threw his toys out the pram when pulled up for his pitiful display against Dunfermline. Toys everywhere and stormed out the ground.

It's pretty standard when a player is in Kamara's position for the manager to come out and say "he's our player until the end of the season and I've no doubt that he'll be professional and give his all for Dundee while he's contracted to this club". McIntyre has said no such thing. In fact it's all been negative stuff albeit worded in a tactful way. When you here Miller say "his head is at Ibrox so he needs to go now" and when you see him not make the starting line-up at the weekend or tonight and when you think back to the various times this season he's not looked interested, you surely have to conclude that he doesn't want to be a Dundee player, he's not applying himself in training and he's making it clear that selecting him is not an option.
Bobby123 Posted 23 January 2019 Posted 23 January 2019 Or MacIntyre has head in the sand and refusing to play him

Cobra Posted 23 January 2019 Author Posted 23 January 2019 Cracking early strike from outside the box by Nelson but it's a whisker wide of the post.

Cobra Posted 23 January 2019 Author Posted 23 January 2019 Great stuff from Nelson. He charges towards the Hearts defence and then threads the ball through but the keeper just gets there ahead of J Curran. That was so close.
