Anyone got any figures for this season and recent seasons?

Incredible amount of players we seem to be going through this season and the last 3 seasons or more in general.

We seem to have Kerr, McGowan and O'Dea then not far off an entire different team twice a season every season never mind once a season.

Then add on all the ones still employed by us who will never play again (Kamara, Moussa, Mendy, Elton, Madianga, Vincent, El Bak, possibly Meekings, Waddell etc).

Harry had a post which was really good that added up all the players we've released early from their contracts from 2014 until present and a rough calculation of how much it's cost us to do that. Frightening.

I thought Harry would be the man with the info as always.

I must have missed it when he posted it.

I've never seen so many players at us for just 6 months or less either.

Nabi, Boyle, Kallman, Calvin.

I totally understand the reasons for why we're having to do it every season, twice a season. It just seems to be getting more and more and the figures must be frightening as you said.

Nabi was only on a short term 6 month contract and all the others on loan, so there would be no pay outs on them.

Think this is in part because we have not been able to plan from one season to the next.

Aye not knowing wjat league you're  in until the last couple  of games certainly  doesn't help. Also changing Managers with different  philosophies  evry couple  of seasons.

If JMs team keeps us up, especially if we get a clear 10th position sooner rather than later, I hope we actually build on who has earned the results rather than trying to say thank you, job done now we are going to start again. It would be a help if we could play a youngster or two to give them game time in matches where the result is pretty well decided, and we don't expect a game changing contribution.

It is now well over 80 in four years.

Unsustainable.

This years accounts are going to make for grim reading.

68 players have left us since promotion.

And there lies the problem.

How do we expect to do well in this league if we keep swapping players like posh becks discards underwear? All I keep hearing are the words 'We need time to gel as a team' when the team sheet is different each week?

Our transfer policy need to change from 'I'm playing football manager' to we are a professional run club.

When McCann arrived he preached quality over quantity, but both he and Hartley and so far McIntyre have simply added more and more and more players to their squads. I've never seen anything like it and how the board think it is either advantageous or sustainable I've no idea.

Funnily enough I said something similar in my second blog nearly a year ago.
