Was pretty surprised we took just shy of 900 down in freezing icy conditions.

I can usually predict our away supports pretty close most games but only expected about 500 to go today.

Very good numbers all things considered.

I think there was a boost because of all the new faces. I hope today's last few minutes hasn't completely wiped out that optimism.

Judging by the reaction on here it probably has.

I think the premium reason DFC fans/supporters will not turn up, is because they cannot equate (in terms of results & performances) the value for money for what is on offer. This season ... & maybe to a lesser extent the seasons preceding this, what's on offer has not been VFM. So I basically agree with you Mr S. I think DFC fans will go through hell & high water, to see the Dark Blue. And even put up with the defeats, if they know that the Players who wear the Dark Blue, are giving their all on the Pitch.

There is one proviso to that ... I am sure there are many fans (like me) who cannot go for a range of reasons (health, age, distance, etc) And there is bound to be many, loyal, ardent DFC supporters, in this present financial climate, who simply cannot afford the expense now, of going to all the games DFC are involved in ... And have to be selective, or do without the "live game experience" ...  (Times are tough on the employment front ... Especially in Dundee & surrounding area)

However back to Heading Topic ...

Well Done to All DFC Fans/Supporters ...Those that diligently can make (& go) to every Dundee Game. Whether it be home or away or both:chaplin:

Suppose you were the guy back in the day who thought queuing twice was a great idea 😂

No idea what you're talking about but you definitely are the one that claims people don't go to Dens because they have to queue twice.

I drove to Dundee on Thursday from Edinburgh ( excuse to visit my Mum) to buy four tickets to be told only Rows A B and C were given to us. Once bought I looked at them and they were Row D! First strange thing.

Then on Friday a cash gate is announced yet again. We also phoned on Tuesday to buy them to be posted to Edinburgh but were told there was no guarantee they would be sent out that day. Why not? Its an envelope and stamp?

Clubs really do take the piss out of fans in a day and age when e tickets are common everywhere, even with some Championship clubs.

what our club often fails to realise is not all fans live in Dundee, in fact I would bet around 20% dont. So please try and make it easier especially when a game will certainly have plenty empty seats. I believe we had 881 fans there yesterday in a stand that hold around double that.

Yes thats correct...will bang on about it till its stopped...

Whats your opinion on away fans PATG at Dens but home fans having to queue in the rain to buy a ticket?

Not the point I'm making. You will bang on about queuing twice until it's stopped as you say it's stopping people going to the games and yet you also claim if the football's better people will come back. If the football's better is queuing twice in some way more acceptable?

What is it that's stopping people coming to Dens? Is it queuing twice or is it the crap we've been seeing on the park?

For the record I'm a season ticket holder so queuing twice to pay in on match days doesn't affect me however I don't think it would necessarily stop me going; I'd just plan it so that I got there earlier. Also would like to observe that I've never queued yet this season to get into The Coxy with my season ticket so the only queue as far as I can see would be to get the ticket at the shop.
