What a difference a week makes, last week we were looking for a "hanging" post the QoS game, this week we are having difficulty picking a man of the match for all the right reasons.

Onwards and upwards.

A number of very good performances to choose from....attacking & getting the ball forward quickly in the first half, and forced to defend more in the second. Great to have several contenders again, and to see that players are getting recognition for their contribution, in addition to a stand-out striking performance.

In the first half Killie were putting early pressure on us and it seemed to me to encourage an early ball forward from us, rather than the usual pass across the back etc which slows things up. Second half Killie stopped their early pressure, because it obviously wasn't working and surprise surprise we fall back on our old bad habits with much slower movement forward and no obvious forward passes. We take off our attack minded players and give Killie even less to worry about in attack and end up defending too deep, no proper out ball either.
