Definitely a 5 for that first half, team selection & tactics vindicated by a surprisingly dominant (without having more possession) attacking display, and going in at HT deservedly ahead....and fans happy too!

I guess the subs were due largely to niggling injuries & lack of matches, and it definitely seemed that these caused us to lose control of midfield, but I think Clarke made a few changes that improved them, so maybe not all JM's fault for that.

JM confirmed this post match. He also said that 'we' failed to deal with their changes.

Break now - time to get fitness levels up, squad to get to know each other more, work on free kicks ( penalties!) and be ready to put our last day against Livingston to bed . Last few games we are on the up - playing better, picking up some points. The same doesn’t apply to st Mirren whose confidence must be pretty shot. Accies will be a little more cocksure as usual but looking at their fixtures - nil points a real possibility for rest of this month. And livi at last have started to drop off in terms of results - not going to come into relegation scrap but there for the taking next game. Previously blind faith prevailed for me but now I really think we have nothing to fear from a struggling Hibs team next time at dens
