The post match summing up on Sportsound after the Accies games stated that they felt we were best placed to finish above Accies and St Mirren, as we had the better squad with guys like Miller and McGowan coming off the bench. Didn't work on Saturday or last night.

And if O'dea (who can't run), is coming on to midfield then that is worrying.

Need to find a way of keeping Curran, Nelson and Hadeniuson on the pitch for longer or go in at half time at least 2 goals up.

We had a midfielder on the bench last night in O’Sullivan. Hope he is a 90 min guy.

Thats the way to play at home,up and at 'em,the way we used to go at teams. We may barring injury unearthed a decent striker, who empties the tank every time he goes on the park,he absolutely loves playing football. We just need to get the new boys a bit fitter to last 95 mins and we may be ok this season,JMc has couple weeks to work on them ,so should see improvement.

Mon the Dee!!

Interesting post-match interviews on DeeTV...well worth a listen.

JM confirmed the subs were due to lack of match fitness, and that he plans to use the 10-day gap to Livi to work on that for the newer guys who'd not had a lot of games before signing.

Nelson seems delighted with his start & settling in well, very complimentary about Curran's work-rate & advice to him. He seems really pleased with his move, and sound like a young lad keen to learn & improve, and with the right work ethic to grab this chance.

And as mentioned in another thread , I bet he's glad he doesn't have a cup game this weekend .

Funnily enough Wood, I listened to this earlier this morning, & was gonna suggest others might like to listen to it.

But I got distracted with other posts on the forum so glad you brought this up. There was a refreshing honesty about

both JM'S & AN's post game comments "Oor Admiral Nelson" disnae half hae an honest, infectious exuberant style.

I like listening to Young nelson. Absolutely bursting with enthusiasm and just says it how it is. Seems a really honest humble guy who is grateful for his chance
