Looks like they have finally been given the go ahead and future trips to games to see the Dee v The Dons will involve the new Aberdeen by-pass.

Good news for AFC, though still an option for protestors to go to the Supreme Court, as the Bypass route protestors managed to do.

Hopefully they won't bother, or won't be able to raise the funds, and let AFC get on with the stadium development, they're already well into progress with the training facilities on the other bit of the new site beside the bypass.

Should take at least half an hour off the time it takes most clubs fans to drive up to Pittodrie.  :)

Gents I live in Aberdeen (Cove Bay) and the bypass is heaven, 15 minutes from Stonehaven to the new ground. No traffic jams.

I leave those complex issues to a 'higher authority', G, but I see you've already made contact for their experience-based assessment ;)

Ken fit, G, ....eh jist hope thon owerpaid architects & planners hi'na overlooked the number o' coos in the fermers' fields ahent the stadium, an' ha'e their route tae the milkin' byre crossin' the carpark exit, or the coos micht escape ontae the Lang Stracht, wi' sharn a'waye.

Even less if the Stadium was on the South side of the City.

This whole development stinks of insider pressures.

To be honest Wood I tried to hold an in-depth discussion with both the sheep & nowt regarding a range of issues (including above)

But I should have given them some notice...The sheep were not interested. And the coos were in deep discussion on Brexit situation

Gedee, G’Day from Melbourne, I dinnae live in a big hoose, but the sheep an coo’s jist let the world go by. The only traffic jam will be that some cheapskate has stuck a circle instead of a flyover at the Cove turn aff, it means yell hae tea get the anchors on. They did chap doon some big hooses to git the road bult and the lairds were nae chuffed. The biggest protester who held this up, wiz an English laird wa bid in Englandshire and his holiday hoose wis to be bulldozed, unhappy camper he wiz. Some bonnie countryside ti fill ye wi peace and tranquility. You could think aboot bringing Nicoll’s bean pes and bridies as the heathens up here Dinnae ken whit good is.  😎

The volume of traffic taking people to Dyce and beyond during the week is far greater than any game will produce on a weekend or midweek night, however yer comment re not built yet is very observant, 😂

Anither fine post Huggs fae yir guid self. Good to hear you are enjoying the record temps doon-by.

We are doing better than OK at this time ... Feb seemingly was the driest & warmest on record. And today (intae March) we have started off wi a belter ... Blue, cloudless sky, & a bright warm sun to go with it.  :)

Am I right in thinking it's a holiday you are on just now to friends and family ... Or is your trip work-related?

We better no sae too much aboot these "englanders"....Too much temptation for me to go "awe political"

That said, tho' some can be bit overbearing & in yir face, in the main, there's a few up here who seem fine.

That said, like yirself it seems ... I prefer the attitude o the "ambling coos" who I will accept dinnae aye add

too much to the long discussions I'm inclined to have wi' them....But are adept at not only listening to what

I have to say I also have guid, honest eye contact wi' me ... As I explain, local, national & international affairs

Although, as already said, the nowt input is somewhat limited, they must find what I have to say engrossing...

When finally they decide they've heard enough & so go on their way, each  leaves me. A Big Steamy Present :bye:

Good Day Huggs ... Looks like it's no a "sittin aboot kind o' holiday" and you're making the most of it, cramming in as much as you can.

By the time you get back, if you're no mentally & physically drained, looks like you might be financially drained...If eh can ever persuade

My Margaret to reinstate meh suspended pocket money, I might consider donating my first week's payment to your good self...It's only

a £5, but by the time you get back, I guess you might need it mair than me, But dinnae get too excited, she's a hard lass.Take Care:chaplin:
