Thought I'd do a wee quiz seeing as how this international break is taking forever. Anyone want to have a go? (without cheating)

1. Which Dee scored 334 goals in 449 league games?

2. How many Polish players have scored for Dundee at Tynecastle?

3. How many league goals did Dundee score against Hamilton in season 1986/87... 0, 14 or 19?

4. Name the only player to have scored four times for Dundee in one European game.

5. In how many different decades has Bobby Geddes played professional football?

6. How many Scottish clubs have appeared in a European quarter-final?

7. Which European league had the greatest percentage of Uefa five star stadiums in 2012/13?

8. Which is the only Scottish football club to boast the world record transfer fee paid for a player?

9. Which Scottish team took their nickname from a Burns poem?

10. Which two Scottish teams are mentioned in the bible?

Just realised Billy Steele was the British transfer record. I know who the world record was now, just read about it a couple of weeks ago, but won't mention it, someone else will get it right, I'm sure.

That 2nd team in the bible....no idea, looked at the league lists just now & still can't think of a context for any of those other club's names.

Still 4.5 to go!

This really does seem like a very slow break....just hope it contains some good news for us, from our upriver Saintee cousins in Perth, on Wednesday.....and our luck keeps rolling into Saturday!

I don't want to seem pedantic but for Question 9 shouldn't it be Ayr United from 'Tam O'Shanter'? 'Honest Men', not 'Honest Man'? I await the inevitable abuse.

You could be right

Pedant (well, you 'invited' that) :)
