Nadir Ciftci Issued With Notice Of Complaint And Offered Two-Game Ban

Recommended Posts

Dundee United forward Nadir Ciftci could be out for two games through suspension after being offered a two-match ban from the SFA’s compliance officer.

The 23-year-old is alleged to have used violent conduct towards Inverness Caley’s Gary Warren late on in Tuesday’s game.

The ICT defender was sent off while Ciftci received a yellow.

He is said to have breached rule 200 and “committed an act of violent conduct and deliberately struck an opposing player upon his neck or head with your arm.”

The SFA issued the notice of compliance today and Ciftci has until Friday to respond.

If Ciftci and United choose to accept the ban, he will miss this weekend’s clash with Partick Thistle and the first of a Celtic triple header, a week on Sunday.

Shortly after the notice was served, Dundee United announced they will refuse the ban.
