Cobra Posted 21 April 2019 Report Share Posted 21 April 2019 It’s our 125th season in Scottish football and I think we need to take a moment to acknowledge what Jim McIntyre has done for the club. - First Dundee manager to record eight successive defeats - First Dundee manager to have a win percentage below 10% - Heaviest ever defeat to Livingston - Worst defeat at Pittodrie since 1930/31 - Heaviest home defeat to Hearts since 1957/58 - Heaviest home defeat to Celtic since 1970/71
CC33 Posted 21 April 2019 Report Share Posted 21 April 2019 Cant believe JM was appointed Dundee manager. The only thing now to make this season any worse is the board announcing that JM will be DFC manager next season

I think Kernaghan will sigh a bit of relief knowing that he isn't our worst ever manager.

I think Kernaghan will sigh a bit of relief knowing that he isn't our worst ever manager. He’s been a car crash appointment. I asked my English friends about sticking with a manager after 7 straight defeats and they couldn’t believe he kept his job. The board relegated us leaving McIntyre in charge to lose a fourth successive game against the fermers. The tragedy is we’d probably have been better off sticking with the flawed McCann. Our last away clean sheet was McCann’s last away game and our performance in McCann’s last game was pretty good. We’ve changed the whole squad to give an inept manager the chance to take us down.

Btw aren't we near a record for time without a goal.

McIntyre has guided us to a single goal in 7 games (first time this century). I’ll update this post when I have a chance to look further back.
