So the manager blames the fullbacks .Can someone tell me (a) what was our joke of a manager's reaction to  Horsefield when he was was booked in the 88th Minute for TIMEWASTING.Did Joker boy tear a strip off him when against 10 men and him just on the pitch we should have been all over them for the Winner and shouting at him that he should be chasing up forward and(b) at the goal was he shouting at the 2 fullbacks to take the position he wanted. If the answer to both is Yes the I absolve the manager and the players concerned should be jottered if otherwise then he needs telling that the only decent thing he can do is leave  now. My suspicion he was doing the 'cool'managers thing of arms folded supercilious looking thing that its not my fault the players are not following orders.Did anybody see his body language?

I heard Michael Stewart say in the discussion after the game that he didn't understand JM's criticism of the full-backs, because he had one of them running up & down beside him & made no obvious attempt to call him over & give different instructions. I've not seen the highlights yet to see what he (JM) was on about.

As for the body language....aye, that's been commented on a few times by the pundits, reporters, as well as here. It's clear that the players need guidance/instruction during the game, and he'll not pass it to them by telepathy. He has at times pulled a player over for instruction, but that often seems to turn into a row. Strange.

I’ve pointed out on a few occasions about the sh**e he shouts occasionally from the sideline and his lack of motivational encouragement to players on pitch . Stands like a tube .
