They've said it every year for the last 3 so lets hope for the same result again! Quite happy for the pressure to be on them as favourites and for us to quietly go about our business building a new team this summer.

That's it. Let them say it and let it be all across the press that they will win the league.

It was dreadful when we went into every single season being expected to win the league, this is maybe only the second or third time where I can remember us going into this league and not actually being favourites.

Sky Sports News introduced their Arab 'feature' this afternoon with the sorry tale of their 4 missed pens (I'm sure Jim White would have had something to add), but then had a phone interview with the Arabs CEO (I hope 'Mitch' didn't hear it, or his blood pressure would have been sky high )

All very positive stuff, of course, but the highlight was that, apparently, the city is bursting with tangerine gear these days.  

Although it maybe turns our stomachs, let them do all the talking....the higher they bum themselves up, the further they have to fall.

As with Harry, I'm happy that most of the media will assume we'll need time to rebuild & reorganise. Less pressure on our new manager. I appreciate the "if County can do it...." concept, but I'd not be worried if we take two seasons, and go up stronger for it.

Dundee United are sh**e both teams on Sunday were 

f**king awful. I think we all knew the Dabs weren’t going

up why cause there manager is useless. Full o f**king 

excuses. When the going gets tough he hasn’t a clue.

He seemed happy to go to penalties . Will be punted around 

February.

This is so true. The Dabs seem to be taking a bit of confidence from not losing in either game against a premier team. Whilst that could be considered fair enough, St Mirren’s utter gashness would normally have been enough to have seen them auto-relegated (a third of their points game from us ffs). It was only due to our phenomenally poor season that they didn’t.

The real measure for the Dabs is that they couldn’t beat a team that would normally have been cut adrift at the bottom of the SPL. They have a mountain to climb now, just like us.

That team who would normally be cut adrift still managed to beat us 3 times last season....

Kinda puts things in perspective at how bad we must have been then? Fecking scary stuff indeed and that was with two different sets of players. 

A season that will hopefully be wiped from memory soon.

I always mind a dab on the dabbie mad forum saying they would finish above Dundee at a canter..........the year they went down!

Funny you should say that I registered for United mad and made a few posts (before being banned) as a concerned United fan worrying about Dundee's new strike force before the season started saying that Dundee had signed a bit of a goal machine in Kane Hemmings and he would score more than the Arab players at the time....

I was obviously shot down in flames and those chunts raging that I ever thought of that and there was no chance that would happen....
