Always thought we've been very light on the coaching staff (we've usually just been manager, assistant, goalkeeper and fitness coach) for years in comparison to other teams so I think it's a great thing that we've added to that.

Are Kev McNaughton and Gary Irvine still there?? If so, having those two along with Jimmy Nicholl, Dave Mackay and Stephen Wright as part of the wider set up just shows the kind of structure the club are trying to put in place. 

Add Strachan into the mix and you can't not be impressed.

Gary Ogilvie's coaching too, heard he's fantastic with the kids and brings the number of Dee's who are doing some form of coaching work to 5, with Strachan potentially adding to that number.

Welcome back Dave, liked him as a player at the Dee, annoyed me a bit a Saints but did get a fair bit of stick from many a Dee and let's not forget he took great delight in being a dab slayer at the Scottish cup final 2014 every Dee deserves a second chance
